Oolong from Thailand

Premium Tea

Five oolong varieties from Thailand. Selected in person on site, fairly traded – and a noticeable difference in the cup.

More calm, and real enjoyment. Instead of ordinary industrial goods, you get a small selection of high-quality oolong varieties that I pick out in person, on site.

Why tea, of all things

Thailand is one of the countries I travel to regularly for work. On one of those trips I came across oolong that is fundamentally different from what is commonly sold: more layered, more aromatic and noticeably purer in variety.

Since then I have chosen the varieties in person on site – right where the tea grows and is processed. That guarantees two things: full transparency on quality, and a fair price for the people on the ground.

Brewing

Oolong is very forgiving in the cup and releases its full aroma easily. As a guide: pour about 3 grams of tea over 200 ml of water at 90 to 95 °C and let it steep for two to three minutes. The leaves take several infusions – from the second one on, the aroma often becomes even more layered.
